Her father, Steven Eaton, is an IT manager, Australian with English descent, while her mother is a native of New Zealand, and is of Chinese, Maori, and Cook Islands Maori descent.
For 8 months, while on the filming of The Gods of Egypt (2016), Courtney was trained by on-set coach Klinton Hoare. In 2015, Courtney was a panelist, along with Carrie Keagan, in an intimate conversation about a Hollywood movie starring a full cast. In May 2016, it was announced that Courtney Eaton will be appearing opposite the lead actor, Ross Lynch, in the fictional comedy-drama movie, entitled State Update, that was not set to start filming until the following month.
